The Nematology Diagnostic and Research Laboratory is a 1998 addition to the Entomology Department and IPM Program at the University of Maryland,College Park campus. Activities in research and outreach are focused on locally relevant priorities in the management of plant-parasitic nematodes (microscopic roundworms). Lab contact information is listed on our homepage, or you can contact the lab director, Sandra Sardanelli.

Outreach efforts extend laboratory expertise to soil and plant sample analysis, for research, extension and regulatory purposes within the state of Maryland.
